 We are growing and are looking for a talented Safety Technician to join our team.  Ideally, the right person will advance to become a player/coach for our team or safety technicians.

This position will be responsible for the following duties:

  •  Responsible for oversight of individual client companies effectively managing multiple safety programs
  • Develops and implements Indigo Compliance site-specific project safety plans and collaborating with client leadership in the implementation and leadership of the overall employee safety program.
  • Provides imaginative, thorough and practical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
  • Coordinate with business owners, contractors, subcontractors, employees, managers and safety committees
  • Participates in meetings with customers, project team members and contractors/sub-contractors to advise on project-specific mitigation plans, S&H training programs, and technical reports
  • Assists with the development and implementation of Site-Specific Accident Prevention Programs (and training plans to meet project safety plan specs and requirements)
  • Assists with site safety budgets, necessary safe work permits and assures compliance with project contract, plans and specifications
  • Reports back through digital means to the office manager and maintains good relationships with clients
  • Perform site specific training for a wide range of topics for our clients companies

Minimum qualifications for this position are: 

  • Associates degree with 4-6 years relevant experience OR a bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google suite
  • English speaker
  • Experience conducting S&H training
  • Regulatory compliance expertise in 29CFR1910, and 29CFR1926
  • Trainer Designation
  • OSHA 500/502 (or equivalent)
  • Safety and Health / Occupational Safety degree from an ABET accredited program
  • CHST or CSHO or equivalent
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
