On April 26, 2012, Riviera Black Hawk Casino was purchased by Monarch Black Hawk, Inc. The Riviera Black Hawk Casino is conveniently located 45 minutes West of Denver in the historical mining town of Black Hawk. The Riviera is the first casino as you enter Black Hawk with valet and covered self-parking.

The Riviera Black Hawk Casino, which opened in 2000, is located on a 1.6 acre parcel in Black Hawk, Colorado, approximately 40 miles west of Denver. The property is the first casino encountered by visitors arriving from Denver on Highway 119 and features approximately 48,000 square feet of casino space, 750 slot machines, 8 table games, a 250 seat buffet-style restaurant and a parking structure with approximately 500 spaces

Monarch Casino & Resort, Inc. also owns Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada.
